At these events we use display tanks to show the general public live adult newts, their eggs and young...... A licensed amphibian ecologist is on hand throughout the day to oversee the display and answer questions and give advice. Our attendance is always very well received and generates a lot of interest and feedback.

We make a special effort to actively involve children by allowing them to examine newt eggs and larvae using hand lenses. Depending on circumstances and the type of event there is sometimes the opportunity for children to hold adult newts.

To ensure our attendance at your event it is important that you contact us well in advance. Our fee for attending events is modest and may be grant/match funded depending on location, type of event, expected numbers and the time of year. To find out more and check on our availability
