At these events we use display tanks to show the general public live adult newts, their eggs and young. A licensed newt expert is on hand throughout the day to oversee the display and answer questions and give advice. Our attendance is always very well received and generates a lot of interest and feedback.

We make a special effort to actively involve children by allowing them to examine newt eggs and larvae using hand lenses. Depending on circumstances and the type of event the licensed newt expert may remove adult newts from the display tanks and allow the children to hold them.

To ensure our attendance at your event it is important that you contact us well in advance. Our fee for attending events is negotiable and may be grant/match funded depending on location, type of event, expected numbers and the time of year.
